Beaches In And Around Maceio
Maceio is famous in Brazil for the quantity and
quality of beaches that surround it. Combine great beaches with

The main city beaches in Maceio are Pajuçara,

receive far fewer people. Some of the main beaches to the north
of Maceio are Cruz dal Almas and Jacarecica. Both of these are popular
with the surfers. Garça Torta and Pratag are also to the
north and are considered to be some of the most beautiful beaches
in the region. Both of these beaches have fairly clear water which
is pretty calm.
To the south you will encounter beaches such as
Barra de São Miguel and Francês. These also offer a
more relaxed pace that the city beaches of Maceio.
