Scuola Leonardo da VinciScuola Leonardo da Vinci - Florence is located in the heart of Florence, just a few blocks away from the Piazza del Duomo on a street called Via Bufalini. The location of the school is literally just a few minutes from virtually every point of interest within Florence. Scuola Leonardo da Vinci opened its first school in the 1980's, and today has a reputation as one of the finest organizations in Italy. This reputation has helped to bring students from all over the world to study Italian at the various Scuola Leonardo da Vinci schools.

As with many of our other schools, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci not only provides general Italian language study, but can also provide specialized programs for business people, lawyers, medical personal, and others. The school also can offer classes dealing with art, culture, history, folklore, politics, plus more.

Program Options
 

Standard Italian Course: 4 lessons per day (each lesson is 45 minutes long), Monday - Friday. Max 12 students per class. Classes start at 9am. During high season, there may be afternoon classes beginning at 2pm.

Intensive Italian Course: 6 lessons per day total. Max 12 students per class. The Intensive Course consists of 4 lessons Standard Course per day in the morning and 2 extra lessons of group language course in the afternoon.

Small Group Intensive Italian Course: For students who want to learn quickly and intensively in a small group, the Small Group Intensive Course is tailor-made for their needs. Together with no more than 6 participants they will have 6 lessons of daily intensive language course.

Intensive Italian Course "Plus 5 or 10": This program consists of the 4 lesson per day "Standard Italian Course" in the morning followed by either 1 or 2 classes of individual instruction in the afternoons. This is an ideal course for individuals who need some type of specialized Italian language instruction.

Extra Options

Private Language Instruction: This programs runs 3-8 lessons per day. It is perfect for those who don't have much time or have very specific Italian language learning needs. Courses for this program can start any time throughout the year. Very Flexible!

Italian Language and Culture Course "Italy Today": For students who want to learn Italian and at the same time become acquainted with the culture, history, social and political situation of Italy, we suggest the "Italy Today" Course. In addition to the 4 lessons Standard Course in the morning, in the afternoon you will be introduced to art and culture, history and folklore, press and films, as well as the current political and economical situation of Italy. The cultural part of this course consists in 10 supplementary lessons in two weeks. This course is only available for people who have at least an intermediate level of Spanish. The course also requires at least 4 participants. Otherwise you will only be enrolled in the Standard Course.

Italian language program start dates: The following start dates are for absolute beginners of Italian. If you already have some Italian, then you can start on any Monday. The school is closed from Dec 13, 2008 to Jan 4, 2009
